Ski Trip

Since 2018, the extracurricular service has been organising a fantastic winter sports trip during carnival week for pupils in S4, S5 and S6.

Snow, thrills and sunshine are on the agenda for an unforgettable experience!

For the third year, the extracurricular ski trip took place during the carnival week. From 22 to 29 February 2020, the S4, S5, S6 and S7 went to the resort La Norma in the French Alps.

For the second year in a row, the extracurricular service organised, in collaboration with the UCPA, a winter sports trip which took place during the carnival week, from 23 February to 3 March 2019.

Summer Camp

Since 2016-2017, the extracurricular service organises a summer camp at the end of the school year.

The programme includes a descent of the Lesse, a robotics workshop, a recycling activity and much more!

This year, the extracurricular service organised the Summer Camp for pupils in S1 to S3, which took place from 24 June to 4 July. Participants had a choice of four exciting camps.

CANCELLED – Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020-2021 summer camp could not take place for the 2nd consecutive year.

We hope that we can offer you great activities next year!

CANCELLED – Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the summer camp planned to close the 2019-2020 year could not take place.

For the 3rd edition of its Summer Camp, the extracurricular service organised workshops on science & robotics and recycling as well as 3 outings: water park, Koezio and Kayak!

Students from S1 to S4 had the opportunity to take part in the 2nd edition of the summer course. A writing course was organised so the group could create a newspaper . The other course was focus on sport activity and stimulated team spirit.

The descent of the Lesse river, an escape room, tree climbing and paintball were also on the agenda!

The first edition of the summer camp was an opportunity for 28 secondary students to participate in sports and artistic activities.

Performing Arts Day

Performing Arts Day is an opportunity for parents to come and see what their children have been up to during the year and to find out what other activities they can sign up for the following year!

The Performing Arts Day took place on Saturday 27 April 2024 at EEB4.

Over 1 000 people took part in this memorable day.

The Performing Arts Day took place on Saturday 18 June. About 600 people came to the school to enjoy this artistic, sporting and musical day!

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, parents were unable to come to school for the second year in a row to enjoy their children’s progress, but the extracurricular service has set up a video system for some activities and sent some footage to the parents concerned.

CANCELLED – Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Performing Arts Day could not happen.

About 400 people came to the school to enjoy this artistic, sporting and musical day!

It was an opportunity for parents to discover their children’s activities and to talk to the various monitors and music teachers from the extracurricular activities service.

More than 500 people came to the European School for the day of artistic performances of this 3rd edition!

Sports courses and tournaments, face painting stands, as well as many surprises were on offer to entertain the children.

Concerts

Our music teachers and their students regularly organise concerts to perform their favourite music pieces for you!

Gergana Perendibazova, piano teacher, organized a nice concert in the school’s ballroom, on Friday, January, 26th.

Parents could enjoy a wonderful musical performance ! Among the titles were: “River flows in you” by Yurima, “Prélude re mineur” by Bach,” La foule” by Édith Piaf, “Etude mi majeur” by Chopin, “Scènes from Barcelona” and “Scènes from Granada”. The evening ended on a high note with a performance of the original soundtrack of “Game of Thrones” !

Concert season is back on track!

On the eve of the winter break, our teacher Maya offered a piano concert with Christmas classics and Gergana opened 2023 with a beautiful concert to celebrate the coming year.

We hope that 2022-2023 will be another great year for music.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, no concerts could yet take place in the 2021-2022 school year.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we unfortunately could not hold any concerts during the 2020-2021 school year.

We hope to be able to propose beautiful musical moments next year!

On the eve of the winter break, our teacher Maya organised a great Christmas concert with classics like “Silent Night”, “O, Christmas Tree” and “Jingle Bell”!

The second half of the year was unfortunately interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and no concerts could take place.

The year 2018-2019 has been full of music! Our piano teacher Maya organised a Christmas concert on the eve of the Christmas holidays, while Gergana prepared a New Year’s concert in January and a concert at the end of the school year.

Last but not least, a great piano concert by our teacher Julian with a symphonic orchestra took place in March!
