The Parents Association of the Brussels IV European School (APEEE BRU IV) is a not-for-profit international association (AISBL) which has been established in accordance with Belgian legislation.
The APEEE BRU IV offers Transport, Canteen, and Extracurricular activities to a growing school community, which already has more than 3000 students and 8 language sections. More about us, can be found here.
The Parents Association of the European School of Laeken (APEEE BRU4) is looking for an ASSISTANT for the Transport Service.
Purpose of the role
The Transport Assistant supports the daily administrative, organisational and communication tasks of the APEEE BRU IV Transport Service. The assistant serves as a point of contact with the external partners, manages registrations, cancellations and changes, and the absences and replacements of a team of 50 bus monitors.
We are looking for a highly motivated colleague who is rigorous and methodical, demonstrates excellent organizational, planning, analysis, comprehension, and oral and written communication skills. The ideal candidate enjoys working as a team, is proactive, and stress-resistant, contributing positively to a collaborative and dynamic environment.
He/she will be part of the Transport Service, one of the main APEEE Services that manages the transport to and from school, for pupils from nursery through secondary throughout the school year.
The Assistant will work under the supervision and the responsibility of the Transport Manager, who will convey the needs and strategic guidelines together with the APEEE Direction and Board. He/she will also work closely with external contractors, APEEE staff, bus monitors, parents and pupils.
