1st term – Services reimbursement

The APEEE Board has been discussing in detail the principle of a reimbursement to parents for services not provided in the 1st term of the 2020-2021 school year due to the Covid-19 situation and has come to the conclusion that these reimbursements will take place after the end of the fiscal year so that we can reimburse you the correct amounts.

After the end of the school year, we will reimburse you the amount of services not provided pro rata temporis, after deduction of the operating costs of our services during the periods in the 1st term when they were unable to operate. In other words, we will reimburse you for the services not provided, less the above-mentioned fixed costs that we had to cover to allow the APEEE to continue operating during these periods.

Please note that the reimbursement will be based on the increases voted at the General Assembly on 25 January >

Concerning the 2nd and 3rd terms of our services:

  • Transport

The payment request for the 2nd instalment of your child’s transport subscription that you recently received precisely included the days that your child used the transport service during the 2nd term, so you were not charged for the days the transport service was not running.

A payment request for the 3rd instalment of your child’s transport subscription will be sent shortly. This payment request will include the exact days on which the transport service is scheduled to operate until the end of the school year. If this is not the case, you will be informed as soon as possible and you will receive a reimbursement later on.

  • Canteen

Except for nursery children for the period from 4 to 23 March inclusive, the amounts foreseen for your 2020-2021 canteen subscription for the 2nd and 3rd terms are cancelled.  As the canteen service will remain suspended for the rest of the school year, you will no longer receive payment requests.

  • Extracurricular activities

You will soon be receiving a reimbursement for activities that could not take place in the second term. Our service will continue to operate until the end of the school year. If this is not the case, you will be informed as soon as possible and you will receive a reimbursement later on.

Group activities for secondary students will remain cancelled until the end of the school year. You will be reimbursed for all courses that have not taken place since the beginning of the school year.
