Extracurricular activities – New measures announced on 16/11/2020 revised

In view of the communication sent by the OIB on November 17 to parents whose children are attending the after-school centre, we would like to make a few clarifications to our emails sent on Monday, November 16.

The OIB finally authorizes the extracurricular activities service to pick up children from the after-school centre before activities and bring them back afterwards. Your nursery and/or primary child(ren) will therefore be able, if you wish, to attend their activity(ies) as usual on days and times scheduled since the beginning of the year.

If, as recommended by the OIB in their last email, you would like to restrict the presence of your child(ren) at the after-school centre on the one hand, or at extracurricular activities on the other, please contact us.
If we do not hear back from you, we will assume that you wish to use both services.

Finally, wearing a mask will not be mandatory for primary students taking part in a sportive activity (indoors or outdoors).
For all other activities, however, it is now mandatory for primary children to wear a mask during the activity, as indicated in our communication on Monday 16/11, except for private lessons, and lessons where different school levels do not mix (piano & theory on Monday from 3:10 pm to 4:10 pm, piano & theory on Wednesday from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, art workshop on Friday from 12:50 pm to 3 pm with Liliane Hene).

Please prepare a mask for your child’s non-sportive activity.

This new communication invalidates and replaces the previous ones. We have to deal with this unprecedented and unpredictable situation every day, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused.
