Book Week

Message from the librarians:

World Book and Copyright Day is celebrated on April 23.
This year, this day falls on a Saturday during the Easter break.

At EEB4, we have chosen to celebrate Book Week from April 4 to 8.

Several initiatives will be organised at school:

Book Reading
Every morning at 08:10, everyone will be able to listen to an excerpt read by the librarians and broadcast over the school’s speakers.

Every day at 14:15, all activities will be interrupted so that everyone can silently read the book they have brought with them for 15 minutes.
Don’t forget to bring a book with you all week!
You are welcome at the library if you wish to borrow a book.

Character Days
Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 will be Character Days, during which you can dress up like your favourite fictional character.

Exhibition
Finally, throughout the week, an exhibition will present a large sample of the many initiatives taken in favour of books and reading.
It should take place on level 2 of the D building (canteen terrace), unless the weather is too bad (in that case, you will be informed of the new location).
Pupils and teachers will be able to admire, listen to, read, and touch the pupils’ creations, share their experiences, and perhaps discover a new book from the reviews on display!

The whole library team is available to help you if, during these activities, you feel an irresistible urge to read!
