Scientific Workshop

Feel like doing some crazy science experiments? Children explore science in a playful way through experiments with incredible results.

With Lili:

P1-P2 : Monday, 15h10 – 16h10

P3-P5 : Thursday, 15h10 – 16h10

1st semester

The objective is to introduce students to the learning of science and thus awaken their curiosity and creativity, while stimulating their reflection.

Several themes, such as air, sound, gravity, density or rhythm are addressed during the first semester. The principles of these elements and phenomena are explained to the children before moving on to the practical phase during which tests and experiments are carried out and the results presented. The scientific apprentices enjoy discovering, for example, why certain things float, sink or melt. They will create their magic lamp, a volcano and understand the phenomenon of static electricity.

2nd semester

The aim of the second semester is to introduce students to other scientific principles. Children will learn rigour while developing their imagination: scientific experiments and quizzes according to the students’ interests.

During the second half of the year, children will better understand new phenomena such as capillarity, deoxidation, the magic of salt and gravity through new experiences and games. They will test their sense of smell, make a paper spiral and fly a rocket. Every month a quiz is organized with the aim of providing general culture, science and fun for the children.
