Manos is a greek Guitarist improviser and composer. He studied Jazz Guitar at Heraklion Lab Music Education in Crete and at the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts).
He also had several private lessons and masterclasses with some of the greatest guitarists of our time such as Gilad Hekselman, Mike Stern, Peter Bernstein.
Manos has performed all over Europe and Greece playing different styles of music such as Jazz, Free Jazz, Funk, Blues, Traditional Cretan Music etc.
He is a member of several groups such as: “Furious Three”, “Lake Of Light”, “Color is a Creation of mind”, “Manos Barkatsas Trio”, “Sonic movements” and “Sequences”.
