Isabelle De Troyer

Pedagogical vision

Passing on the ancestral gestures of market gardening today and participating in the ecological transition from a very young age.”

Isabelle has experience with children aged 6 to 14 at the “Happy Farm” in Neerpede, where she runs animal care workshops and zero waste crafts during the school holidays. She is also an instructor at the European School in Uccle, for the extracurricular activities “vegetable garden, nature and discoveries” for children in the first and second primary.

She is also involved in the management of an urban vegetable garden, Le Champ à Mailles, at the Maison Verte et Bleue in Neerpede.

Growing up in an equestrian environment, nature and animals have always been a source of well-being and the desire to pass on her knowledge is now her priority. She will guide the apprentice gardeners through the seasons, from seed to harvest. In winter or during very bad weather, she will lead craft and discovery workshops in connection with nature.  The workshop will be held in French, English and Dutch.
