Gergana Perendibazova

Pedagogical vision

Thanks to a complete assimilation of theoretical learning (notes, rhythm, musical terms) and the practice of the instrument, the realization of small pieces is an objective set in the very short term. The pleasure of creation is always emphasized in order to stimulate the desire to learn and work as soon as possible.

Gergana graduated in piano from the National Academy of Music “Pancho Vladiguérov” in Sofia, the Conservatorio “F. Torrefranca” in Vibo Valentia (Italy) and also obtained an AESS diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.

Gergana has more than 30 years experience as a piano teacher and she has been teaching at the European School of Brussels IV since 2013. She teaches all levels, in French, Italian and Bulgarian.

Her students have won 7 prizes in international piano competitions. Gergana was also a member of the jury of the 24th A.M.A. National Music Competition in Calabria (Italy).

Her goal is to share her love for classical music and to develop the piano skills of each student, taking into account their personality and interests. She combines musicality and creativity with technique.

Her teaching method is based on the patience and psychological attention of each student, in order to make the student enjoy and understand what he or she is playing, while remaining attentive to the needs and desires of each student. The more advanced courses allow to approach repertoires of all styles and all periods according to the desires and means of each student (classical, jazz, film music,…). Gergana aims to bring both an opening to musical culture by listening to musical extracts and an approach to the life and works of composers.
