FAQ - Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA)

On which platform(s) does the EGA take place?

The EGA meeting is held on Zoom. The link will have been sent to you via the class reps a few days before the day of the EGA.

If you are a class representative and have paid your APEEE membership fee for the current year, you will be able to vote at the EGA. Voting takes place online on a separate website that you will need to open in a web browser: https://votingonline.eu/

Who can vote at the EGA?

If, and only if, you are a class representative and you are in order with your APEEE membership fee for the current year, you can vote at the EGA.

Who can give proxy and to whom?

Only class representatives in order of payment with their APEEE membership fee for the current year may, if they cannot attend the EGA, give proxy to other class representatives, also in order of payment with their APEEE membership fee for the current year.

How to give proxy?

If you are a class representative up to date with your APEEE membership fee for the current year and you cannot attend the EGA, please find another class representative, also up to date with the APEEE membership fee for the current year, who agrees to vote for you, fill in a proxy form and send it back to us at secretariat@bru4.eu

You will find the form to fill in in our “General Assemblies” tab >

Please pay attention to the deadline!

Where can I find my login to vote on the day of the EGA?

If you are a class representative and have paid your APEEE membership fee for the current year, you will receive an email with your password the day before the EGA.

The email on which you will receive your login is the one you have indicated in our online registration system >

Don’t forget to check your spam!

Where and how to vote on the day of the EGA?

Our partner’s website for voting is: https://votingonline.eu/

You will need to go to this website, in addition to the online meeting that will take place on Zoom.

Enter the password you received the day before the EGA and follow the online instructions. You will wait in a virtual waiting room until the voting starts.

You can vote securely via your computer or smartphone.

What happens if I have a proxy(s)?

You will only receive one login and password no matter how many proxies you hold.

You can vote differently for the proxies you hold.

For each question, you will first express your own vote, then the name of the person(s) you represent will be displayed and you will be able to express his/her/their vote, which may hence differ from yours.

What if I disconnect from voting during the EGA?

If you log out of the voting platform during the meeting, you will be able to log back in using the same credentials.
