Nursery, Primary & Secondary Groups
Educational affairs related groups:
There are several groups composed of representatives of the school management, teachers, Parents Association and parents who deal particularly with educational affairs. There objectives are two-fold: To support school in their decision making on specific items and to ensure transparency between all those having a strong educational responsability for the benefit of the children.
The Education Council N/P: The group is chaired by the Vice-Director, Ms Ivanauskiene and deals with all items of importance or interest for Nursey and Primary section.
The EC N/P meets 3 to 4 times during a school year and the results are reported back to the Joint Education Council. Parents and the Parents Association have the possibility to put items on the agenda which they would like to discuss with the school management and teachers.
Education Councils: The group is chaired by the Vice-Director, Mme Gallas and deals with all items of importance or interest for the Secondary section. The EC S meets 3 to 4 times during a school year and the results are reported back to the Joint Eucation Council. Parents and the Parents Association have the possibility to put items on the agenda which they would like to discuss with the school management and teachers.
The Joint Education Council: The group is chaired by Mr Schlabe and deals with education related items of general interest. The JEC meets once during the school year and the outcome of this meeting is reported back to the School Advisory Council.
The School Advisory Council: The group is chaired by Mr Schlabe and discusses education and management issues relevant for the whole school community, defining the guidelines, particularly for the coming school year. The group meets twice a year.
