Born in 1992 in South Korea, Taejung Kim began his musical journey with classical piano before broadening his musical horizons through jazz guitar.
He studied at the Maastricht Conservatoire in the Netherlands, where he obtained a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in jazz guitar.
He teaches piano and guitar whilst developing his career as a musician and teacher. He performs at various venues and festivals and has won several competitions in Belgium and the Netherlands.
His musical approach is shaped by his experience of performing and teaching, with a strong emphasis on listening, experience and active musical discovery.
