Strike 12 March – Impact on APEEE Services

Dear APEEE BRU IV parents,

Due to the planned STIB strike taking place on Thursday 12 March 2025, please find below some updates from APEEE Services.

For buses

The service should operate as usual. However, this does not completely rule out the possibility of some last minute disruptions or cancellations. If any routes are cancelled or affected, as soon as an information is received, parents of the students of the impacted bus lines will be notified via the Together ESB4 app.

For bus monitors and monitoring in the Together ESB4 app:

A strike that impacts public transport means that some bus monitors are unable to reach the first bus stop in the morning or come to school to accompany students on the return journey. Even if they manage to get to school, it is not certain that they will be able to return home when they have reached the last stop. In case there is no bus monitor on board, you will not be able to track the bus, but if the Transport office receives any information, we will send notifications in the Together ESB4 app. So keep an eye on the app in the morning and throughout the day. Please make sure it is installed correctly.

Notifications via the Together ESB4 app

Only parents who have correctly entered their cell phone number in their profile will receive notifications in the Together ESB4 app. If you have disabled notifications for this app, please remember to check your messages there. If you have not yet installed the app, please do so now, and make sure your phone number is correctly entered.  Follow the link: https://www.bru4.eu/en/transport-2/together-esb4/

Important information about the Together ESB4 app

You must use the phone whose number is in your profile, in the section:

mobile (32444444444 – !necessary to receive ESB4 APP notifications!):

Do not try to connect on two devices with the same phone number. If you have just updated your phone number in your profile in the appropriate fields, the link between the app and your profile will only be valid from the following day.

For the canteen the operation will be as normal.

Though some monitors may be absent during the day, we would like to reassure you that all children will be welcomed and supervised by the extracurricular team.

We will do our very best to replace absent instructors, however some activities may be replaced by supervision.

We thank you for your understanding and remain available for any questions.
