The activity develops creativity, precision and the pleasure of creating with one’s own hands. Each session allows students to gradually learn new folding techniques adapted to their age and level.
The works can be preserved, exhibited or used in decorative projects related to the seasons and events of the school year.
The origami workshop aims to develop students’ creativity, concentration and fine motor skills through an artistic and structured activity.

The objectives are:

  • develop the precision of the gesture and coordination;
  • improve concentration and attention;
  • strengthen memory and the ability to follow a series of steps;
  • encourage patience and perseverance;
  • promote self-confidence through the completion of concrete projects;
  • to discover in a fun way certain geometric concepts such as shapes, angles, symmetries, and fractions.

The activity also offers a calm and rewarding moment allowing children to progress at their own pace.
