Maja is a violinist graduated with distinction from the Veracruz State University (bachelor), the University of Music Frederic Chopin of Warsaw, Poland (master’s degree) and the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels (second master’s degree). Her passion for music composition led her to accomplish two master’s degree in Music Theory and Composition, at the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels.
Her talent is valued through national and international musical competitions in Mexico, USA, Poland and Germany. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in Mexico, USA, Belgium, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and China.
Maja has more than 10 years of experience in teaching children, youth and adults in different schools in Brussels and Leuven, as well as at the Faculty of Music of the Veracruz State University, Mexico, where she led the violin, chamber music class and music theory subjects.
She adapts the traditional learning methods to the individual student interests and expectations. Her objective is to help, often in a playful way, to discover and develop their own creative skills and talents.
