Julie Rozé

Julie is French and holds a state diploma as a piano teacher. She has been teaching this instrument for more than ten years in different structures (associative and public schools, conservatory…). Currently living in Brussels, she is studying at the Royal Conservatory.

She also studied History and has had various experiences of work and study abroad. She is open to an original approach to classical music and strives to make this music accessible and understandable for today’s youth.

She has initiated a classical piano / Haitian drum duo (Bach to Kreyol), and more recently a collective to promote women composers.

She always seeks to teach children the physical side of music (body percussion, walking rhythms, singing), combined with more theoretical learning in the form of games (coloured notes, piano games, interval recognition, drawing, creation of little stories about music).
