I started playing the drums on my 13th birthday, as part of an afternoon class at school. After a year, I stopped studying, but two years later I started playing in bands in Milan, Italy. Rock, alternative rock. After many experiences as an autodidact, in 2012, after high school, I enrolled at the Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado, a jazz music academy: I graduated in 2016. After a few years of experience abroad (including two years of studies in double bass), while working as a musician, I held for three years the position of artistic director of a cultural center in Milan. In 2023, I settled permanently in Brussels to pursue a master’s degree in jazz drumming at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, under the direction of Stéphane Galland. I graduated with honors in 2025. I am now a regular concert performer, I remain active in the field of artistic research and I teach drums.
As a teacher, I like to show empathy, entertain my students, maintain a serene and positive relationship, discover their strengths, and cultivate their enthusiasm and passion for discovery. I have always taken great pleasure in teaching, it allows me to learn a lot about myself and my way of interacting with others.
