A touch of honey makes it sweet and yummy, while still being healthy.

Vegetarian Lasagne Bolognaise!
This vegetarian “bolognaise-style” lasagne is a wholesome, comforting dish created with children in mind. Finely grated vegetables and lentils blend into a soft, familiar texture that closely resembles a traditional meat sauce, making it reassuring and easy for young eaters to enjoy. The lentils provide plant-based protein and iron to support growth and energy, while carrots, tomatoes, and mushrooms contribute fiber, vitamins, and natural sweetness without overpowering flavors. The sauce is slowly simmered and lightly seasoned to keep it mild and easy to digest, and the small touch of honey balances acidity naturally. Paired with a smooth, homemade béchamel and gentle melted cheese, this lasagne offers a satisfying, balanced meal that keeps children full, nourished, and happy—an ideal way to introduce vegetables and plant-based meals in a familiar, comforting form.
