Architecture Workshop

Throughout the various activities, children will develop their architectural drawing skills by learning how to represent shapes, volumes, perspectives, and shadows, enabling them to better understand how spaces and buildings come to life on paper. They will also discover the fundamentals of technical drawing and learn how to create scale plans.

The workshop will also allow them to explore the fundamental principles of construction. They will learn to identify the different forces and constraints that must be considered when constructing a building, such as stability, balance, load distribution, and the strength of materials. This approach will provide them with an initial understanding of the technical challenges faced by architects and engineers.

A significant part of the workshop will be dedicated to the construction of architectural models. Participants will learn how to transform their ideas and plans into tangible creations by designing and building their own models using a variety of materials. This part of the workshop will enable them to experiment with concepts such as scale, volume, assembly, and structural design.

Participants will also be introduced to the challenges of urban planning by exploring how cities are organized to meet the needs of their inhabitants while promoting quality of life. They will discover the principles of sustainable design and environmental responsibility, including the importance of material selection, energy efficiency, the preservation of natural resources, and the creation of environmentally conscious spaces.
