General strike: Monday 30th January 2012

Dear Parents,

The general strike this Monday 30th January 2012 will paralyze the capital.

The bus service managed by the Parents Association will  not be on strike and will operate as normal.

However the general strike could have an impact on the service, some of the monitors may not be able to get to their stops in the morning or the school in the afternoon.

It is therefore very important that you are on time at the bus stops in the morning and afternoon to avoid any problems that might arise due to the strike.

It is also possible that some drivers may be on strike and that buses departing from regional depots will be blocked by pickets. Some of the lines may be affected.

Do not hesitate to contact the monitor or the driver if a problem arises, or the Transport office. There may also be traffic problems which may affect the bus timetable.

We will do our best to make to ensure a service on Monday
